RAVE REVIEWS FOR THE AWARD-WINNING PUBLICATION

This is far and away the best book about any wood artist that I am aware of.

—Steve

What a wonderful book—an amazing job of putting together a comprehensive story about the work of a master craftsman. The production values are top notch, the photos are crisp and capture the feeling of many of the pieces. If you love wood objects or craftsmanship this book will not disappoint you.

—Stephen C. Keeble

This is a beautiful book in every sense—the design, photographs, and storytelling.

—Woodcarving Illustrated Magazine

The book itself is a fine example of book arts of the first order.

I purchased the limited edition with the wooden case and it is well worth the modest added cost. Whichever edition you decide to collect, you will be grateful to have this book in your collection and to learn of the surprisingly beautiful contributions of Emil Milan, an outstanding representative of Mid-Century American arts and crafts..

—Terry

The Emil Milan book is magnificent. The design, artwork, layout, cover, photos are so well coordinated with the narrative. There he is, Emil Milan, from beginning to end. The insights contained within make the reader sit back, reflect, take notice, and just feel good. Milan comes through as a person with shining, inspirational qualities.

—Ronald Springwater

"Emil Milan: Midcentury Master" is beautiful to look at, to hold, and to read. My house guest, who is not a "wood person," was absolutely intrigued. New convert—well-done!

—Tib

The book is just plain outstanding....can't think of a better word...and such a tribute to Emil and the volume of his work.
